Ford Next Gen Raptor Ranger ECU Tuning
Because the stock Raptor ECU is unable to be tuned, we offer an alternative that allows you to tune the car without the need for a piggy back external unit or a signal bender to get the best results possible.
We replace your standard ECU with a Factory Ford 2nd Hand F150 ECU from America, we pair the ECU to your car so everything runs as it should, this allows us to write a custom tune specific to YOUR vehicle. Every tune we do for the Raptor Rangers is different depending on your car and your requirements
A Breakdown of the pricing is as follows
2nd Hand F150 ECU $3,500
Fitting / Set Up and Pairing to your Raptor $400
Custom Dyno Tune $1,800
TOTAL $5,650
We’re happy to take a deposit for this job rather than paying for it in full.
The Deposit amount is $3,500 so we can order the ECU - the remainder can be paid for after the car has been completed.
Please e-mail is on sales@maxxperformance.com.au, or send us a message via Facebook to organise this!
Once we order the ECU it takes approximately 2 weeks for us to receive it.
**** INTERSTATE BUYERS WILL NEED TO TAKE THEIR RAPTOR + ECU TO A FORD DEALERSHIP TO GET THEM TO PAIR THE ECU TO THE CAR, THIS WILL INCUR A FEE FROM FORD. WE HAVE HAD MULTIPLE INTERSTATE CUSTOMERS DO THIS WITH ZERO ISSUES ****
⚠️ IMPORTANT ECU SWAP INFO – PLEASE READ ⚠️
As we anticipated, the ML3Z-12A650-KPA ECU has now been officially superseded by NL3Z-12A650-FYA, and unfortunately, this new ECU cannot be unlocked using current tuning methods.
What this means for OUR RANGER RAPTOR Customers:✅ We can still tune your vehicle using one of our available used ECUs.
❌ However, you will lose active exhaust functionality. This is due to internal hardware differences – not a software limitation.
⚠️ There will be no check engine lights, but the active exhaust system will simply not operate.
This will be fine for those planning to delete the factory exhaust setup or those who are happy to only have one exhaust setting.
If you’re planning to get our stage 3 package with our exhaust system doesn’t use this feature anyway, so there will be no differences for you.
